The Federal Clean Air Act, Section 608, requires that persons who service, repair, or dispose of appliances and equipment that contain requlated refrigerants be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. The EPA has also placed a sales restriction on refrigerants, limiting the sale of regulated refrigerants to certified technicians only.
Technicians who violate the Clean Air Act provisions may be fined, lose their certification, and may be required to appear in Federal Court.
Candidates will recieve a study workbook in advance of class VIA email. Make sure to give yourself enough study time. Register at least one week prior to the start of class.
We will conduct a review of material for approximately 3-4 hours on the day of the exam.
If an individual is paying, payment MUST be recieved prior to emailing out the workbook.
We are located in the Interstate South Commerence Center. From I-95, take Phillips Highway exit 339 and turn right onto Phillips Highway. Take the first entreance and turn left to FCAA.
