FCAA Cancellation Policy

FIRST COAST APARTMENT ASSOCIATION EDUCATION AND EVENT PAYMENT POLICY


FCAA General Membership Events: (Including but not limited to, Maintenance Mania, Circle of Excellence, Trade Show (community members), Golf Tournament, & Holiday Party).

Cancellations- UPDATED 5/11/20 to reflect COVID-19 changes. 

• To avoid a penalty, all cancellations must be received in writing by the FCAA Staff prior to the event date. Cancellations can be emailed to Info@fcaaonline.com or taylor@fcaaonline.com 

Cancellation due to Illness - 

• We ask that you do not attend any in-person classes or events with FCAA if you are suffering from any illness. In light of that request, we will cancel any scheduled attendance without penalty if we receive communication from the attendee in writing that they are unable to attend due to illness. 

No Shows/No Communication-

• No Shows/No Cancellations will be charged the full amount of the event attendance.  

FCAA Education Classes/Seminars:

Cancellations-

• All cancellations must be received in writing by the FCAA Staff to avoid a penalty. Cancellations can be emailed to Info@fcaaonline.com or jason@fcaaonline.com 

Cancellation due to Illness -

• No Shows/No Cancellations will be charged the full amount of the class.  

Designation Programs: (Including but not limited to, NALP, CAM, CAPS, CAMT, and CAS Certifications)

Registration-


• Upon registration of a designation course, half the cost of the course is due. This cost covers the book, materials and shipping. The payment must be made 7 business days prior to the first day of class.

Cancellations-

• All cancellations must be received in writing by the FCAA Staff to avoid a penalty. Cancellations can be emailed to Info@fcaaonline.com. 

Cancellations due to Illness - 

• If the class has not yet begun, and the student is ill and unable to attend the class there will be no penalty for cancellation. FCAA will work with all students to offer rescheduling or virtual options for those who are unable to attend in person. If the class has not yet begun, then the student may choose to cancel completely and request a full refund for all funds paid. All full cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing prior to the scheduled start date of the course. 

• If the class has begun, and the student is ill and unable to attend the class there will be no penalty for cancellation. FCAA will work with all students to offer rescheduling or virtual options for those who are unable to attend in person. If the class has already begun, then the student needs to contact FCAA immediately to discuss available options.

• If the student has already paid for the entire program, no penalty fee will be charged. They will be reschedule to attend the next available class.

• If the student has not yet paid for the deposit for the book then a "re-stocking fee" will be issued in the amount of the book charge including shipping costs. 

Required Payments-

• Members: Half of the cost of the designation course is due 7 business days before the course starts. If you are unable to pay half by the first day of class then you can be rescheduled for the next time the course is offered. The material fee will remain and must be paid before the next class is offered. The designation course must be paid in full before the student is eligible to test.  Payment plans are available upon request. Please contact FCAA for any questions. 

• Non-Members: The full cost of the designation course is due by the first day of class to be able to attend the course. If you are unable to pay the full amount by the first day of class, then you can be rescheduled for the next time the course is offered.  

Certification Programs: (Including but not limited to, EPA and CPO)


Cancellations-

• All cancellations must be received in writing by the FCAA Staff to avoid a penalty. Cancellations can be emailed to Info@fcaaonline.com.

• Members: The full cost of the certification course is due on the first day of the course. 

• Non-Members: The cost of the certification course is due immediately upon registration.
