Duval County Additional Protected Class

In February 2017, the Jacksonville City Council passed an ordinance creating an additional protected class in Jacksonville. Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity are now considered a protected class in Duval Country along with the federal and state protected classes of Familial Status, Country of Origin, Race, Color, Religion, Gender and Disability.
